Last year when these fields of fuchsia flowers appeared, I was
IN LOVE!
We're pretty sure they're just a cover crop-one tilled into the dirt and used to fertilize the soil for the "official" crop. Interesting, huh.
I get my love of flowers from my mom...so with these magnificent clover fields in bloom, we had to take my mom out to see them.

congrats on gavin! he's adorable! too bad we didn't live closer cause our kids could be good friends since we both have a girl then 2 boys! =) have fun with your new little one!

Reminds me of the song "I Often Go Walking (in meadows of clover)". Aren't mothers great!?! I think we have a couple of awesome ones!

I love those fields. Everytime I drive by one, it makes me want to take a blanket and walk out in the middle of them and have a picnic!
