Children's Museum

Taking the kids to the Children's Museum in Portland has been on my list of things to do for the last YEAR! (Sad that it has taken me this long to...check out the pass from the Forest Grove Library and get in for FREE!) Better late than never I guess. :)

The kids had a BLAST! From the Clifford exhibit, to the "grocery store" to the face painting, to the water room, etc., etc., etc. ... it was an all-around, super fun day!

(Thankfully that face painting stuff came off REALLY easily! However, we had to run to Target after we left the museum and I let them leave it on...they looked like a couple of indians with their war paint on. :)

The grocery store was super fun for both kids...at least until Carter tried to take the cart into a seperate exhibit...he was REAL mad when I took it away and put it back in the "grocery store".

There is a list of places that Jemma rattles off every night when we're putting her to bed...places she REALLY loves and wants to go back to - ALL. THE. TIME. - (Disneyland, the beach, the zoo, etc.) The Children's Museum has officially been added to the list. :)

Reed Baby #3

Here we go again! For those who didn't know, we are expecting our third baby. Very exciting and a little overwhelming. I am 23 weeks along right now, and am just getting around to posting a pic from our ultrasound a couple weeks ago. (Sorry the pic is not so good. I had to take a picture of it since our scanner is no longer compatible with our newer computer...) And due to TrAdItIoN!

Brandon found out the gender of the baby and I, once again, did not. I'm a sucker for punishment I guess. :)

Play house Adventure!

Aunt Sheryl gave the kids this AwEsOmE playhouse for Christmas...it's made of super sturdy cardboard and it's meant to be colored, painted, etc. I took pics and videoed the first time we got it out, but seriously, it has been something the kids play with/color on EVERY DAY since. They love it!

Our initial experience with it was BEYOND messy! Anyone who knows me well knows, I get a little stressed out in messy situations...I was pretty proud of myself this go around. I totally kept my cool and just kept thinking, "there's nothing a little soap and water won't take off." :) (And luckily, the kids were still in their pj's and due for a bath anyway!)

Dance Recital

The Wednesday before we went out of town, Jemma's dance class had a "mini" dance recital. All the parents were just invited to come and see them do their first dance during the last 10 minutes of class. Jemma really loves her dance class and I was so proud of her performance. (She did a pretty good job of staying focused if ya know what I mean.) Oh ya, (for those of you that don't know the Bisbees), the last 3/4 of the video are not centered on Jemma because I was trying to get her friend filmed too...her mom took pics of the girls while I filmed...I felt bad that I forgot to do it at the beginning!

Serious Catching Up...

I have been quite negligent of the blogging realm ever since we went out of town for Christmas...three plus weeks ago...so, stay posted, cuz the updating has begun! There will even be a few pre-Christmas posts...back dated of course. :)

Christmas in Cali

After spending 8 days in Albuquerque, we headed over to California to see Brandon's family. We had such a good time spending time with all of them. The kids were RiDicUlOuSlY spoiled with all the gifts...we sure appreciate every ones generosity and hope they know how much our children love them. Here are just a few pictures of stuff during our stay.

Jemma all decked out. She looks so cute when she puts all this stuff on. It's funny, since we've been back, she's taken to dressing all kinds of things up...the piano bench, the playhouse, etc. Everything looks better with a little glitz. :)

We had a wonderful time in California and always feel like the time goes by so quickly. We sure have been blessed though to see family as often as we do.

All the nieces, excluding baby Lilly (we'll have to make one for her) got tutus, crowns and magic wands for Christmas, so Aunt Melanie (my sister) decided she needed to take a few pictures of the girls all dressed up. They all felt pretty special. :)
