Before: Ronchy (is that a real word...?) old frame and kind of unattractive painting from Goodwill.
After: Frame with a fresh coat of paint and a little sanding for a "distressed look", 2x3ft. piece of wood with a couple coats chalkboard paint...Homemade Chalkboard!

I can't believe you didn't want that beautiful goodwill masterpiece hanging in your living room. for all to see. Or above your bed, even better. :) I love that idea, I have yet to play with chalkbaord paint, my cousin just painted the sides of her kids' dresser with it and they love it! That is such a good idea, your so crafty, I still want that corner shelf made out of a door. :) We miss you guys!
I LOVE that Jenny--you are always so creative and coming up with some new fun thing!
That turned out awesome! I love it! So when i looked at our Good Will for old paintings, they were charging more for them than a brand new frame at Hobby Lobby would cost me! What a rip-off! So I'm still wishing to do a cool frame project, but have not found cheap frames yet. . . but yours looks awesome!
That looks great! I like it a lot, good job.
That is so cute! I want to make one for my kitchen. You are so creative!
I'm so glad you found the blog and now I have yours! Sweet. I now also have a cinnamon roll recipe. Fun blog it's fun to get to know you even more.
Yay! You can see our blog now!!! Good to hear that you guys are doing well (despite the rigorous schedule that school entails--almost finished with the first year!!) Good to be in touch again. We accepted the job offer in Salem, so unless we get a significantly higher paying offer--here we come!
Love the pictures of your kids--and you are one of the craftiest people I know!! I love the chalk board!
Love the chalk board. What a cute idea. I might have to give it a try. I just realized that I made my blog private and never sent you an invite, so post your email address and I'll send you one. Hope things are still going well for you.
